Finalists Announced for the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards

Worcestershire businesses have been shortlisted for the annual Tourism Awards in partnership with the VisitEngland Awards of Excellence.

55 Worcestershire businesses have been shortlisted for the county’s annual Tourism Awards in partnership with the VisitEngland Awards of Excellence.

The businesses selected will now go through to the second round of judging where independent industry professionals will decide the winners and highly commended after a series of site visits.The Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards has now cemented its place in the industry calendar after the success of the past three ceremonies, where Worcestershire’s best tourism businesses have been celebrated regionally and nationally for their achievements.

Councillor Adam Kent, Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills at Worcestershire County Council, said: "I am thrilled to see such a diverse and dynamic array of Worcestershire businesses shortlisted for this year's Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards.”“With 77 outstanding contenders across 55 businesses, it’s clear that our county continues to excel in providing exceptional tourism experiences.”

“This year, we're introducing two exciting new categories – the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award and Worcestershire’s Tourism Unsung Hero Award – both highlighting the remarkable dedication and innovation within our local tourism sector.”

“I eagerly await the announcement of the winners at our grand black-tie event in March 2025, where we will celebrate the very best of what Worcestershire has to offer. The icing on the cake is that all the winners from the awards are shortlisted for the Visit England Awards of Excellence, where our Worcestershire businesses have the chance to be crowned the best in the country."

All winners from the awards are shortlisted for the VisitEngland Awards of Excellence, where businesses have the chance to be recognised as one of the best in the country. Previous Worcestershire winners include Severn Valley Railway, Rowley Farm Holidays, Pensons at the Netherwood Estate, Treeopia Luxury Treehouses and The Fleece Inn, Bretforton.

Two new categories have been added to this year’s schedule. The Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award will honour businesses championing inclusive tourism practices in the county, whilst Worcestershire's Tourism Unsung Hero Award will single out individuals who are going above and beyond to deliver exceptional visitor experiences.

Visit Worcestershire are delighted to welcome The Valley, Evesham as the headline sponsor for the Awards. Joining us to recognise excellence and innovation within the local tourism sector.The winners will be announced at the annual black-tie event in March 2025, where the host venue has not yet been confirmed.
