Tourism and hospitality businesses across Worcestershire are now invited to enter the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 2026/27, celebrating the very best visitor experiences the county has to offer.
The awards recognise attractions, accommodation providers, food and drink venues and tourism businesses of all sizes, from independent eateries and family-run glamping sites to major attractions and business event venues.
This year’s awards introduce two new categories: International Tourism Business of the Year, recognising businesses successfully attracting overseas visitors to the county, and Worcestershire’s Food & Drink Producer of the Year, celebrating those who contribute to the county’s thriving local food and drink scene and a distinctive part of the Worcestershire visitor experience.
Businesses that enter the awards benefit from increased marketing and PR exposure, helping to build customer trust and raise awareness of their offer. Past entrants say the profile gained through the awards has supported business growth and attracted new customers, while feedback from industry experts provides valuable insight to help businesses develop, refine and enhance their visitor experience.
The awards also serve as a pathway to national recognition, with regional winners progressing to the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. Worcestershire has a strong track record at the national level. This year, five county businesses and Tourism Superstar Mick Hurst reached the national finals, helping strengthen Worcestershire’s reputation as a high-quality visitor destination.
