Re-discover the art and design of Worcester Porcelain through the lens of contemporary print and ceramic artist Lisa Sheppy. Working from the perspective of an 18th Century engraver, Lisa brings the historic technique of transfer printing into modern practice.
Developed through doctoral research, Ornament Unbound: Tissue Transferware Reframed draws on the Museum of Royal Worcester’s internationally significant collection of ceramics and archival material, including engraved copper plates, and pattern books.
