Learn clay techniques with potter and artist Kay Mullett in this 10-week course in the inspiring surroundings of the Museum’s ceramic studio. This course is suitable for all abilities, beginners and those with some experience. You’ll get hands-on with instruction in a range of traditional and experimental pottery techniques including throwing, slab building, coiling, slip casting, modelling and decoration.

Class dates: 22 April – 1 July. Please note no class Wednesday 27 May 2026.

All materials included, plus tea and coffee served on Royal Worcester during the session. The whole 10 week course can be booked for £280.

Access requirements: Please bring your ticket confirmation with you – on a phone or other device is fine. Please note there is no visitor parking at the Museum itself. Nearby on-street pay-and-display parking is available on Severn Street (1.5hr maximum) and in adjacent King Street carpark (longer stay). Blue badge holders can park free without time limit in both locations.
