How does it work?
Worcestershire on Demand is a flexible, app-based bus service that allows passengers to book a shared journey at a time and place that suits them.
Designed to complement existing bus routes, the service operates in areas where regular public transport is limited. Passengers can book a journey at the click of a button through the app and can travel anywhere within the service zones, as well as to selected out-of-zone points of interest.

Travel with Great Western Railway
Reaching Worcestershire is simple with Great Western Railway. Travel from London Paddington to the heart of the county in as little as two hours and step straight into rolling countryside, historic towns and days out that feel a world away from the city.
Worcestershire is also well connected to destinations across the region and beyond. Direct services link the county with Oxford and the Cotswolds, Cheltenham Spa and Gloucester, as well as Bristol and Hereford. From Bristol, connections open up even further to Bath, South Wales and the South West, making Worcestershire an easy addition to a wider itinerary.
Once you arrive, Worcestershire On Demand makes it easy to continue your journey. Connecting key rail stations with towns, villages and attractions across the county, it offers a simple way to explore more without the need for a car.

When do services operate?
Services operate Monday to Saturday,7:00am to 7:00pm. Services do not operate on Sundays or bank holidays.
How much does it cost?
- Each journey costs £2.50.
- Group bookings offer is available with each additional passenger costing £1.25 per journey.
- Under 16s travel for free in August 2026.
- Concessionary passes are accepted after 9:30am (for pre-booked journeys only) as well as Here to Help bus passes and HM Armed Forces Veteran Cards.
How do the zones work?
You can travel anywhere within your zone,including popular points of interest,such as retail parks,hospitals,country parks and train stations.
In the North West,North Central,North Malvern and Wychavon zones,journeys are limited to a maximum of 15 kilometres (approx. 9 miles) as the crow flies,to help keep the service reliable,while there is no distance limit within the North East and South Malvern zones.
You can also travel to selected points of interest outside your zone,as long as:
Your journey starts or ends within your zone,and it stays within the 15km distance limit (where applicable)
You cannot travel between two locations that are both out of your zone,except between Great Malvern Rail Station and Malvern Hills Science Park.
Travel between different zones is generally not permitted,except for a small number of specific locations shown on the map.
Are the buses accessible?
Yes,wheelchair accessible vehicles are available. Please make sure to indicate that you require a wheelchair accessible vehicle when booking your journey to ensure a suitable vehicle is assigned to your trip. You can do this by navigating to the ‘Concessions’ menu in the WoD app and toggling on the ‘Wheelchair accessibility’ option before making your request.
Are child seats available on board?
Our service operates with a variety of vehicles. We do not provide child seats on board,as every child is different it would be impossible to meet every individual requirement. Parents and carers are welcome to bring their own child seats if they wish,but please note that responsibility for fitting these rests with the parent or carer. Our drivers cannot assist with fixing child seats into the vehicle. We are unable to guarantee that the vehicles we operate will have seats suitable for a child seat to be fitted.
Please note that there is no legal requirement for a child to use a car seat when travelling on a minibus,however,children aged three or older must use an adult seat belt if travelling without one. Can I take my dog on the service?
Only support dogs are allowed.
