Please submit your application with as much notice as possible- some requests may require more notice than others.

We will also need a comprehensive risk assessment and your public liability insurance along with any other documentation that might pertain to your shoot, such as child or animal licences.

If you are not sure what is needed to gain permission for your shoot, or would like to discuss options and further suggestions, please contact Worcestershire Film Office and they will be more than happy to help make your shoot a smooth process for you.

Road Closures and Traffic Management

Road and Footpath closures may require up to 12 weeks’ notice, and traffic management applications can take up to 4 weeks to process.

If you think your filming or photography application may require the closing of a road, or changing the flow of traffic in Worcestershire, please contact Worcestershire Film Office who will be able to advise you further.

Filming with Drones

A permit is required for permission to launch a drone from council land and property- for further information, please contact our colleagues at Worcestershire Film Office. If your drone launches are approved, we would need the following documents in order to release your permit:

• Drone Insurance

• Drone Risk Assessment

• CAA Authorisation/Licence

Locations could be anything from a driveway, modest house or home office all the way up to bars, restaurants, corporate offices and shops.

Productions will often need catering, parking, break-out spaces and equipment (among other things) so if you provide facilities or services that could be of interest to film production companies, you can register your services, free of charge, on the Worcestershire Film Office website (powered by FAME Pro).
