About this event

Dates, address & more

Pick up a trail booklet and pencil from Visitor Reception and embark on a mythic adventure as you discover Hanbury Hall's wonderful gardens.

This half term, we follow the story of our Greek hero, Charis, as he's searching for his best friend, Cleon, who has been taken to the underworld realm by Hades, God of the dead. Charis will have to battle various monsters, including the evil Medusa, in order to bring his friend back to the world of the living.

Make your way along the trail completing activities such as Minotaur's Labyrinth and Poison Apple Bobbing. Head to the Long Gallery with your trail booklet and take part in creating a Medusa mask!

The trail takes place between Saturday 24 October and Sunday 1 November 2026, from 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 3.30pm - so come along and enjoy!

Price of trail: £2.00 (this includes the crafting activity)

Booking not needed. Normal admission charges apply for the venue.
