Our collections - fun for all ages.
We share 250 years of colourful stories celebrating ceramic design, skill and innovation. Enjoy our world-class collections in stunning galleries with interactive displays, where you can discover iconic objects like Admiral Lord Nelson’s breakfast teapot, Worcester’s famous Painted Fruit and Evesham oven-to-tableware. We are dedicated to access for all, and a connection to place and people through stories of creativity and the daily lives of ordinary and extraordinary people - their work, diet and the impact of trade.
Paint-Your-Own-Pottery
Make memories with family or friends as you enjoy creative fun together. You can choose from a wide range of ceramics, such as mugs, plates, money boxes or even pet bowls. Then be inspired by our collections to paint your own unique design. We glaze and fire your items for collection or posting. Birthday party and special occasion packages are popular as well as corporate wellbeing days.
Creative Workshops
Gain hands-on experience in a range of traditional and experimental clay techniques. ‘Discovering Clay’ long and short courses with guest potters, available all year round. Take part in historic food workshops developed by award-winning food historian, Dr. Neil Buttery.
Sensory Trail & Showstopper Trail
Experience the sounds of Worcester porcelain, food and factory smells, and the feel of porcelain! You can also discover 25 of the most exceptional Showstopper pots ever made. Which is your favourite pot?
Community Exhibitions
A spotlight on the creativity of our local communities, from heritage outreach with community centres and retirement villages, to displays from local schools and colleges. Created by Worcestershire Litfest poets, ‘The Language of Porcelain and Food’ poetry is on display amongst our collections and online.
Schools and Educational Visits
Book a self-led or guided tour with themed workshops. We also hold regular Home Education days.
Unique Venue Hire
Looking for a unique and central venue to host your corporate event, special family occasion or wedding breakfast? Set in our stunning galleries, surrounded by the iconic and beautiful designs of Worcester porcelain, we can tailor packages to suit your budget.

We are a registered charity without regular public funding. If you are considering supporting the Museum, thank you! We are grateful for donations, or you could even Adopt a Pot from the collection, become a Friend of the Museum or pledge a Gift in your Will. Volunteers are always welcome to join our friendly supportive team.
