Hillside Cottage

Hillside Cottage is a newly built extension to our farmhouse. Surrounded by 60 acres of our own farmland, we have a working beef farm. From the south facing balcony, guests can enjoy the views of the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.Children friendly. Our cottage is the ideal place for children, being of a mile from the main road with an enclosed garden. Children love to help with calf feeding and egg collecting.Accommodation. A self contained and purpose built unit, which offers 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and a door which opens out onto the balcony. The 2nd bedroom contains adult size bunk beds. The bathroom is also upstairs and has a shower only.The downstairs features a new fully equipped kitchen adjacent to a dining area and comfortable lounge with patio doors leading to its own enclosed garden.Location. The cottage is just a short distance from the M5 junctions 7 and 9 and makes an ideal base for exploring the nearby Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds.Eckington is just 2 miles away, with its traditional black and white houses, general stores and two public houses, with excellent restaurants.The nearest market towns are Pershore and Tewkesbury, about 5 miles away, with their historic abbeys. The Cathedral cities of Worcester, Gloucester are approx. 30 minutes by car and Cheltenham Spa is 20 minutes.Bredon Hill has a host of lovely villages surrounding its base with more picture box houses welcoming inn's and pubs.The hill is criss-crossed with footpaths which lead to the summit where views across to the Malvern's and the Cotswolds can be enjoyed on a good day.A warm welcome awaits you here and whatever your interest, you will find it close by.
