Discover Worcestershire's creative side at Open Studios Art Week taking place from 22–31 August 2026
Worcestershire Open Studios Art Week returns this August for its biggest year yet and it's free to attend! This hugely popular countywide art event will feature over 180 local artists and makers opening their doors across 104 venues where visitors will find a friendly welcome and leave inspired.
Running for 10 inspiring days, visitors can step inside working studios and creative spaces, meet artists, and explore a wide range of work, from painting and ceramics to jewellery, textiles, and printmaking, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Worcestershire countryside.
Perfect for the August Bank Holiday period, the event offers exhibitions, workshops, live demonstrations, and the chance to buy original artworks and handmade gifts. Details of workshops and demonstrations will be publicised on the website in the month before the event.
Plan your visit with the new interactive map and digital guide at www.worcestershireopenstudios.org. Free printed guides will also be available at local outlets including Tourist Information Centres from mid-June. Please note that different venues may open at different times and that not all venues open for the full ten days, however, you can also search by open days on the interactive search map.
The website also hosts a year round Artist and Maker Directory featuring more than 200 local creatives and also showcases the events, exhibitions, workshops and courses throughout the year that they are taking part in.
Whether you're an art lover or simply curious, this is the year to explore the wealth of creative talent that Worcestershire holds.
