The Wonderful World of Bees

Join us at School Road Flowers for a fascinating evening exploring the wonderful world of honeybees, led by Martyn from Merry May Honey.

With over 100 hives across the local area and many years of hands-on experience, Martyn has dedicated his life to beekeeping. Quite simply, if Martyn doesn't know it, it probably isn't worth knowing!

Whether you're a complete beginner, curious about keeping your own bees, or simply fascinated by these incredible pollinators, this promises to be an engaging and informative evening. Martyn will share his knowledge, stories and practical insights into the life of the honeybee, the challenges and rewards of beekeeping, and the vital role bees play in our environment. You’ll even get to make your own wax candle to take home!

There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and learn from one of the region's most experienced beekeepers. Martyn will also have a selection of his award winning products available to purchase.
