Dame Laura Knight, one of the most popular twentieth century English artists and husband Harold, spent over 30 creative years around Malvern.

Her incredible journey is brought to life in Rachel Tobin’s play ‘Storm Over Our Town’. From humble beginnings to becoming a Dame and a celebrity in her lifetime, Laura Knight’s story inspires. 

What drove her to keep pushing boundaries throughout her life, in a male dominated world? What shaped her as the female artist we know and love? All will be revealed.

‘Storm Over Our Town’ is performed by actors from Malvern Skyline Productions and produced and directed by Rachel Tobin, whose previous plays include ‘The Last Free Rave’, ‘Malvern’s Secret War Heroes’ and ‘Theatre of Dreams’.
