A Night in the Pumpkin Patch

For a different side of the Pumpkin Patch, Churchfields Farm is opening the fields after dark for two special evenings this October. Strung with festoon lighting, the patch takes on a completely different atmosphere once the sun goes down — atmospheric, a little magical, and a lovely way to mark the start of autumn.

Each evening runs from 6pm to 9pm, with live music from 6.30pm to 8.30pm: Nick Medakovic performs on 17th October, and Ben Vicklers takes the stage on 23rd October. Roaming circus entertainers add to the atmosphere throughout the evening, while a selection of street food, hot chocolate, warming crumble pots, Churchfields ice cream and marshmallow toasting are all available to buy.

It's an evening that works equally well for families, a cosy date night, or a catch-up with friends. Tickets are £8 per adult or child; pumpkins themselves are not included and can be purchased separately on the night. As this is an outdoor evening event on natural ground, warm layers and sturdy footwear are recommended, and a torch may help with navigating the darker areas of the patch. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. Advance booking is strongly recommended, as spaces are limited.
