Half Term Hoe-Down at Churchfields Farm, Droitwich — 24 to 30 May 2026

Half term is coming and you need a plan that actually works — somewhere local, somewhere that fills a whole day without filling your wallet, and somewhere the children will still be talking about on the drive home.

The Half Term Hoe-Down at Churchfields Farm, Droitwich runs Sunday 24th to Saturday 30th May, 10am–5pm daily. It's a Western-themed takeover of the farm with a full timed programme of events, all-day activities and everything else that makes Churchfields a proper family day out — with free parking and easy access from Droitwich, Worcester and across the West Midlands.

What's included in your ticket:

The timed programme runs every day:

• 10.30am — Animal feeding in the paddocks
• 11am & 1.30pm — Gallopin' Stick Pony Derby: timed races with a leaderboard — fastest family in the west
• 11.30am & 2pm — Cow Pie Toss Showdown: hosted competition with scores on the leaderboard and the title of Top Cow Pie Tosser up for grabs
• 2.30pm — Woody & Jessie's Country Line Dancing Disco: 45 minutes of music, dancing and character fun
• 3.30pm — Country Foam Party Finale: country hits, foam and the best possible end to a half term day

All day in the Western marquee:

• Lasso practice, tin can alley and stick pony derby free play
• Gold panning and gemstone panning
• Cowboy hat making, cactus lollipops and country crafts
• Wild West dressing up and photo opportunities

Plus the full Fun Farm:

• Adventure playground, zip line, go karts, giant bouncers and fairy trail
• Animal paddocks including Hamish, our baby Highland calf
• Woodland trail and outdoor play areas

Optional add-ons:

• Lamb Bottle Feeding — 12pm daily, £1.50 per person, pre-book only, 40 places per day
• Highland Cow Safari — 1pm daily, £2 per person, no booking needed

For parents: The Cow Shed Café is open throughout your visit — brunch, hot drinks, lunches and farm-made ice cream. Coffee and cake from £6. Somewhere to sit, refuel and watch them wear themselves out.
