Exclusive one to two tuition with experienced potter Rupert Brakspear. Includes a six week course plus an induction session.  Participants have use of a potters wheel each and an opportunity to develop new skills and techniques.

The course content will be flexible and focused around the experience of the participants. The course will cover centering and throwing including the making of cylinders (mugs, jugs, beakers etc) and bowls, and will also cover decoration and glazing.

Participants will have the opportunity to experiment widely, leaving the course having created six finished, glazed pieces.

Price £595 per person

The induction session on 30st April (7-9pm) is an important session, for all course participants. At the session we will cover an introduction to clay as a material and the a brief overview of it’s place in human culture.  We will also cover  health and safety and briefly explore the museum.
