Well Furlong Retreat

Here’s the scope: It’s more like a boutique holiday cottage on wheels than shepherds huts you might be accustomed to. We’ve combined two large shepherds’ huts in an L-shape, to create a single luxury and unique escape, ideal for a couple, a girly getaway or for a family wanting relaxed & civilised luxury stays in the North Cotswolds, at the foot of Bredon Hill in Worcestershire, near Cheltenham.

Well Furlong Retreat is well equipped, with a large open plan kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table. There’s a sitting room area with two sofas, SMART TV and great Wi-Fi, and of course, there is the hot tub to indulge in as well. When the sun sets and the night chill draws in, pull down the blinds and enjoy a night cap by the ‘hobbit’ wood burner.

The bathroom has a spoiling luxury double shower, and the sleeping arrangements are cleverly designed, with a sumptuous super king-size bed adjoining the sitting room and a hidden double ‘bunk’ room, situated the other side of the bathroom, for two to sleep in. All sheets are 300 thread 100% cotton.

Outside there is a large south facing decking area with a sunken jacuzzi, sun loungers and garden table & chairs. Two sets of wide steps lead you down to a fire pit / barbeque and a more formal garden area.

Surrounding Well Furlong Retreat is 80 acres of organic farmland for guests to roam and to enjoy the uninterrupted views of stunning countryside.

Nearby footpaths lead you up onto Bredon Hill and the surrounding beautiful Cotswold and Worcestershire Countryside. The local pub is located within walking distance – an easy 1.5 mile walk away. You’re also only 15 minutes’ drive from the many restaurants and cafes in Broadway.
