Situated in the picturesque 'black and white village of Ombersley, only three minutes outside of Worcester. This former Coaching Inn has a fantastic history dating back to the 17th Century.The Crown and Sandys ( pronounced Sands ) is derived from the link between King Charles l and his son Charles ll and the Sandys family during the civil wars of 1645-57. The coaching inn underwent considerable alteration around 1810 when the Marchioness of Downshire Baroness Sandys carried out extensive re building improvements on the village of Ombersley.The Crown and Sandys welcomes you with a mixture of old & new. 5 different dining areas, each with a different ambiance & style offer the perfect place to relish our sumptuous menus, superb wines & great service.Here at The Crown & Sandys our food is our passion, with a highly skillfull kitchen team we pride ourselves on our ability to provide food of the highest quality, here you will find our menus, you'll see they feature an Anglo - Mediterranean theme, from burgers to tapas - our menus span a wide range.
