Available as the whole house sleeping 26, you will have exclusive access to the entire 570sqm farmhouse, surrounding gardens and carpark, with complete privacy, including your private lake.

There is room to relax, celebrate, play and dine together. The property is also ideal for corporate days with office space, wifi throughout and a 6” tv for presentations.

The space

The farmhouse is situated in a rural setting. There is an area where you can hire in a hot-tub for your use. There is a contact for this addition available.

The gardens are extensive, surrounded by borders with views reaching out over your private lake and other fishing pools. The house has its own private gravel driveway and car park area with parking outside for 10 vehicles. If more space is required there is plenty of space just a few metres from the house. The fenced garden has a climbing frame, swing and slide.

A ground floor wc and shower link to an indoor/outdoor bar space with covered seating area. This is a new addition and is great for those who want to party inside and out; it is perfect for those late evenings when the weather is just not good enough for sitting in the gardens. You can also use it as a hot-tub area should you wish to hire one. Your gardens have an area for outside dining, with a charcoal BBQ area, and circular seating and dining area with an optional extra-large a fire pit.

At Sporting Heights, you will have use of two expansive lounges each with log burning fires, ample seating with sofas and other armchairs in which you can relax and unwind; a TV in each offers entertainment and one has a bookcase with all sorts of reading material. The views from the French windows, in each, are spectacular and you will get to see all of the lovely space around your home.

The dining room will seat all of your party in one large dining space. Three extending tables allow everyone to sit together for your party meals so everyone feels can celebrate together. In the understairs cupboard there are even two highchairs

This dining space is just immediately off the kitchen so even whilst preparing the food you are a part of the event.

The kitchen has an electric range double oven and 9 hob rings, two dishwashers, a large upright fridge and microwave. There is space for all of your food whether you bring it, or the supermarket delivers and the two dishwashers mean you can put all those dirty dishes directly into the machines. It really is exceptionally well equipped. What is more if you can’t find what you are looking for, we will aim to supply it!

We will supply tea-towels, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, paper towel in enough quantity for a weekend, but do remember in theory at least this is self-catering!

A boot room, a place to hang coats and take off muddy boots, has a second full sized fridge, a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer and houses the two boilers providing 24 hour hot-water and heating. It is an ideal spot for drying those wet dogs before they come into the house.

The large conservatory overlooks the lakes and gardens and is a perfect spot for your breakfast in the morning. There is a games room with table tennis and a snooker table for your fun time and a croquet set for those summer evenings.

Outside of the garden, you have your own personal lake as well as use of the three other public lakes should you enjoy coarse fishing; all at no added cost.

Bedrooms

There is one bedroom on the ground floor, with a kingsize bed, single bed and en-suite with shower and toilet, should any of your party struggle with stairs; there’s also a separate toilet.

Two staircases lead to the first floor and the 8 further bedrooms with an assortment of kingsize and single beds, 7 with en-suite bathrooms with just one single room sharing a bathroom. Bath or shower facilities are available to choose from.

You will find the white crisp bed linen of good quality in all of the rooms with two pillows each and a hand and bath towel for each guest. Each bathroom has a shower/bath mat and we start you off with soaps and enough lavatory paper for a 2-3-night stay. The rooms have a seat, drawers and hanging wardrobe space. You will be thrilled with your morning views, no matter which room you chose.

Upstairs there's a secluded seating area so you can shut yourself away from the hubbub if you wish.

You will be amazed by the amount of personal space that the house and bedrooms offer. You will all be in the same house, but never feel as if you are on top of each other. You will never feel crowded or enclosed in this huge property with all the privacy you could wish for.

There is boosted wifi throughout the property offering up to 40mps.

With all this to make use of within your holiday home, don’t miss out on the surroundings! The secluded location makes this the perfect peaceful retreat, but Cleobury Mortimer is 10 minutes’ drive away – for food shopping, restaurants, 7 pubs as well as cafes.

Local attractions include Mortimer Forest, Ludlow Castle, Stokesay Castle, Clee Hills, Acton Scott Working Farm and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. Ludlow also has a variety of festivals held throughout the year. Towards Kidderminster, guests can explore the Black Country Museum, Witley Court, West Midlands Safari Park, Wyre Forest and Go Ape tree top adventure park. Alternatively, head to Bridgnorth, where the whole family can appreciate the things to do, including Severn Valley Railway, Daniels Mill, The Cliff Railway, Ironbridge Gorge and plenty of museums to explore.
