All of our meat is born, slow reared and grass-fed on the Madresfield Estate, just two miles away at the foot of the Malvern Hills. The restaurant and the menu are the result of a careful and ongoing collaboration between Tim Hassell, Farm Manager, butcher John Hearn, and Head Chef Rory Warnock and his team.
The ability to control each small step of preparation, from management of the pasture right through to the point of cooking, gives the restaurant the opportunity to maximise quality and help us achieve our aspiration – to produce the best possible meat from animals living a natural and healthy life in a balanced and regenerative ecosystem.
We champion local suppliers, with the menu changing regularly with the seasons and what is available to us. We have great options for those who don’t eat meat, with fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes given as much attention as our own produce. We serve our own beer made from the barley grown on the estate, as well as local wines, ciders, gin and kombucha. Even our coffee is roasted locally!
Choose from a different lunch and evening menu, and on Sundays enjoy a fantastic Sunday roast.
