Train RideThe EVLR is normally steam hauled and passes some of the old apple orchards to Evesham Vale Station, stopping briefly you can break your journey here, to enjoy some of the activities below, returning on a later train.Experience the comfort of fully enclosed coaches during inclement weather, or enjoy the panoramic views from our summer coaches. Wheelchair bound passengers can enjoy the train ride in our specially adapted compartment. Trains depart at half hourly intervals, and the return journey takes approximately 15 minutes.Evesham Vale Station Picnic AreaThere are picnic benches and a large grass area, where you can enjoy a picnic overlooking some of the best scenery the Vale of Evesham has to offer.Childrens Play FortThe play fort is located on the picnic area.Countryside WalksFrom Evesham Vale Station there are walks to the river Avon, maps are available from the guard on the train.Fares for 2020Adult 2.80 Return and 1.90 SingleChild (aged 2-15 years) 2.30 Return and 1.50 SingleSenior 2.50 Return and 1.70 SingleTrains operate 10.30 am 4.30 pm Summer (4 pm in Winter)
