Crossbrook Farm Historic Estate has 3 properties: Crossbrook Farm (sleeps 4), The Chapel (sleeps 2), and The Well House (sleeps 2).
Crossbrook Farm is a unique and tasteful mix of period features and modern furnishings spread across a large and generous living space with two wood burning stoves. Every room has panoramic views over the beautiful countryside. A truly contemporary property with original wooden beams, feature windows, a traditional church stone font, a stylish glass stairway and modern furnishings. The feature master bedroom benefits from its own en-suite with double ended slipper bath. Two of the three bedrooms boast a large, oak screen with countryside views and there is a family "Jack and Jill" style shower room featuring a walk-in double shower.
Outside, an expansive, south facing rear patio exploits the 180 degree view of endless, unspoilt countryside and features two monumental iron fire pits, large wood fired hot tub and plenty of seating and dining areas. Set within twelve acres of private grounds which you are welcome to explore, stroll along the stream or wander into the orchard where you can pick apples, pears and even olives. There are plenty of walks a short distance from Crossbrook Farm, including the famous Monarch’s Way footpath that approximates Charles II’s escape route following the Battle of Worcester and the picturesque Worcester to Birmingham canal within a few minutes walk.
The Chapel has a wealth of period features including exposed timbers, a feature stone fireplace with wood burning stove, flagstone and oak floors – and details to make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Yet the furnishings and fittings are decidedly twenty-first century, with modern comforts like a roll top bath and stylish furniture. Outside you will find private garden area with firepit and wood fired hot tub.
The Well House is a romantic, unique and cosy retreat for two. The owners have kept much of the property's period details to offer a holiday home that’s unlike any other. The 40-foot-deep Well with its glass top is a fascinating central feature that doubles up as the dining table with lights, illuminating the very depths of the Well. There is also a cosy wood-burning stove set in an original brick fireplace and plenty of original exposed timbers and brickwork. Full height windows let the light flood in and ancient, fortified doors open out to your own outside space with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Outside in a landscaped courtyard you will find private garden area with firepit and wood fired hot tub.
The Well House and The Chapel can be booked individually or together for the potential of sleeping eight guests.
Guests can also enjoy pre-booked luxurious beauty therapy treatments at the onsite Wellness Suite as well as a private chef, yoga, meditation and other therapies in the historic estate of Crossbrook Farm.
Located approximately one mile away is the village of Aston Fields which comes alive in the evening with fabulous Italian and Indian restaurants, an American bistro providing authentic street food and the finest craft beers and cocktails, Wine Bar and a restaurant linked to their adjoining butchers shop serving locally sourced dishes. Aston Fields also benefits from a recently opened railway station with regular services across the Midlands and beyond.
