Escape to this cosy Barn in the picturesque village of Defford. First built in the 1830s, the updated residence balances the original finishes with modern amenities, featuring repointed brick, exposed beams, and antique furnishings.The Barn is self-contained and private, with the owners living in the farm house next door, so at hand for any recommendations or questions.There are many places of interest in easy reach of the Barn including the Malvern Hills, Worcester, Cheltenham and The Cotswolds. Slightly further afield Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham are approximately an hour away.Children are very welcome. For the comfort of all our customers we do not permit pets in the Barn, and smoking is permitted in the courtyard terrace.Coach House Barn has all the amenities including, dishwasher, cooker, hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, digital flat-screen TV with DVD player, CD player and free WIFI.The Barn is accessed through private gates and there is enough parking for two cars on the drive.Defford is a village on the edge of Bredon Hill and it's renowned for its agriculture, specialising in asparagus and fruit. The award-winning Revills Farm Shop is a short distance away selling local high-quality produce and the village has two pubs with reputations for excellent food. Defford is situated off the main road, equidistant to Pershore and Upton upon Severn by about three miles. Both small towns are very popular with tourists and have a culturally rich atmosphere, with a range of activities, including a cinema, theatre, art gallery, boat trips and a range of good quality restaurants.The location of Coach House Barn makes for easy access to Bredon Hill and The Malverns for walking and Croome Park is just a short distance away.The Barn is ready for occupation from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival (and earlier time may be possible upon request) and should be vacated by 11.00 am on the leaving day.Discounts are offered if more than two weeks are needed for example relocation purposes.On arrival the Coach House Barn will be spotlessly clean and prepared for your stay.
