Opening times, reviews & more
Housed in a stunning 17th-century building, Broadway Museum & Art Gallery invites you to explore the fascinating history of Broadway—a charming Cotswold village with evidence of human habitation dating back 8,000 years!
Our exhibits include Cabinets of Curiosities, the impact of the East India Trading Company, the Roman Era, and Broadway's rich connection to the wool trade. Celebrate the artistry of William Morris and immerse yourself in The Colony of Creativity, an exhibition showcasing the works of artists, writers, and musicians who found inspiration here, such as John Singer Sargent, Frank Millet, A.A. Milne (creator of Winnie the Pooh), and J.M. Barrie (author of Peter Pan).
Step into Broadway’s vibrant stagecoach history, complete with thrilling tales of highwaymen who once haunted one of England's most important roads to London.
Families will love our interactive experiences, where children can touch, smell, and play their way through the museum. Follow the Wombat Trail to discover hidden surprises and unlock a treasure chest on the children’s floor, featuring a playroom packed with toys, a creative craft room, and a calming sensory space.
