The festive season is upon us, and Worcestershire is ready to celebrate.
From twinkling light trails and magical steam train journeys to traditional Christmas markets, Santa experiences and seasonal performances, there’s plenty to make winter 2026 one to remember.

Family Days Out
Glow Golf at Aztec Adventure The Lost Valley
Experience adventure golf after dark as The Lost Valley at The Valley Evesham is transformed with twinkling fairy lights and glow-in-the-dark balls. After your round, warm up by the fire pit or enjoy a drink in the festive marquee.

Museum of Royal Worcester
Add a little creativity to your Christmas with festive activities at the Museum of Royal Worcester. Enjoy Christmas Paint Your Own Pottery, discover unique gifts and explore Ornament Unbound: Tissue Transferware Reframed, featuring contemporary ceramic artist Lisa Sheppy.

Santa Safari at West Midlands Safari Park
Enjoy a magical festive day out for the whole family, combining a four-mile winter Safari with a journey through the North Pole, the Enchanted Elevator and a visit to Santa in his beautifully decorated Grotto. Children can also choose their own present from the Elves’ Workshop.

Make magical memories with a range of family-friendly festive experiences, including Breakfast and Lunch with Santa, a Light Trail & Santa Experience and Christmas workshops.

Robin Hood at The Swan Theatre
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a panto! Worcester Repertory Company returns to The Swan Theatre with Robin Hood, a family adventure packed with songs, dance, hilarious characters and plenty of traditional pantomime fun.

Santa’s Steam Specials at Severn Valley Railway
All aboard for a magical Christmas journey from Kidderminster. New for 2026, The Recipe for Christmas combines a heritage steam train journey with a live festive show at Arley Station, featuring Santa, Mrs Claus and a cast of North Pole characters.

Winter Glow, Three Counties Showground
Christmas comes to Malvern with Winter Glow, bringing together an illuminated light trail, ice skating, UV glow crazy golf, a Christmas market and a magical Father Christmas experience.

Christmas at Hartlebury Castle
Christmas returns to Hartlebury Castle with festive activities for the whole family. Follow the Great Elf Trail through the Castle, visit Santa in his grotto and even train to become one of his elves.

Once Upon a Time… Croome’s Fairytale Christmas
Wander through the pages of much-loved fairytales this Christmas as storybook scenes are brought to life with festive magic at Croome.

Christmas Tree Festival at Worcester Cathedral
Enjoy a seasonal stroll through Worcester Cathedral and discover its collection of decorated Christmas trees in the historic Cloisters.
27 November 2026 to 5 January 2027. Dates are subject to change; the festival excludes Christmas Eve afternoon and Christmas Day.
The Enchanted Gardens: Kipling’s Jungle Book at Webbs
Step into the world of Kipling’s Jungle Book as Webbs transforms its gardens with atmospheric lighting, lanterns, projections and sound for an immersive festive trail.

Christmas at the Zoo at All Things Wild
Combine animals and adventure with plenty of Christmas magic at All Things Wild. Festive activities include Christmas crafts, seasonal music, marshmallow toasting and reindeer-food making, with the option to add a special visit with Santa.
From 28 November 2026
Christmas at Little Owl Farm Park
Head to Little Owl Farm Park for a festive family day out. Its Christmas Grotto includes gingerbread decorating, a private visit with Santa in his cosy cabin, gifts and festive treats.
Selected dates in November and December 2026. Christmas Grotto weekends begin on 28 November.
Christmas Markets
Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre
One of Worcestershire’s best-loved Christmas events, the Victorian Fayre fills Worcester city centre with traditional stalls, festive food and drink, street entertainment and period characters.
3 – 6 December
Evesham Christmas Market
Enjoy seasonal shopping in Evesham, with festive stalls, gifts, food and drink bringing Christmas cheer to the town centre.

Pershore Georgian Christmas Fayre
Step back in time and enjoy a wonderfully festive weekend in Pershore. Browse local crafts and unique gifts, discover festive food and drink and soak up the Christmas atmosphere across the market town.

Old Palace Christmas Market
Head to Worcester Cathedral’s historic Old Bishop’s Palace for a Christmas market featuring artists, makers, music and independent traders in an atmospheric riverside setting.
