Arley Arboretum

Walled Gardens at Croome Court

Tucked away behind towering Georgian brick walls at Croome Court lies one of Worcestershire’s most extraordinary horticultural treasures. Privately owned and lovingly restored over the past 25 years, these seven-acre gardens offer visitors a rare chance to step into a living time capsule where history, horticulture, and heartwarming personal stories come together in the most magical of ways.

The Walled Gardens are thoughtfully divided into six unique zones, each one reflecting a chapter in the garden’s rich history or pointing towards its evolving future. This blend of historical storytelling and contemporary design brings a fresh perspective to garden restoration, offering a journey through time with every step.

Every summer, the gardens come alive with colour and flavour thanks to an impressive collection of over 50 varieties of tomatoes, grown in greenhouses and raised beds. It’s a vibrant showcase of heritage and unusual varieties that would excite any food lover or gardening enthusiast.

Croome Court is open every Saturday and Sunday from April to September, along with Bank Holidays. Opening hours are 11 am to 5 pm, with the last entry at 4 pm. Admission is £7 per adult, and children under 14 enjoy free entry (regular National Trust admission applies), with all funds contributing to the continuous restoration and maintenance of the historic gardens.

Morton Hall Gardens

Morton Hall rests on the crest of a steep embankment and looks out west over the Vale of Evesham to Welsh mountain ranges on the horizon. The eight acres of garden and park combine historic and new features in a highly aesthetic fashion and provide the backdrop for a collection of nearly a thousand plant varieties.

This May bank holiday Morton Hall Gardens opens its gates to visitors for its annual Tulip Festival. Over 100 tulip varieties can be admired in borders, pots and as cut flowers, revealing the magic and splendour of this unique flower.

Please note visits outside of the May bank holiday are by appointment only.

RHS Spring Festival

RHS Malvern Spring Festival is a must-attend event in the UK’s horticultural calendar for gardening enthusiasts. The festival showcases stunning Show Gardens and features inspiring talks from BBC Gardeners' World celebrities sharing their top tips with gardening royalty Alan Titchmarsh MBE set to make an appearance. Other areas include the region's largest houseplant festival, in collaboration with Green Rooms Market, which will see the first RHS Judged Indoor Plant Gardens, plus a gigantic Floral Marquee featuring plenty of specialist nurseries to shop beautiful and unique flowers and plants.

The 2025 theme, "Plants and People," celebrates the central role both play in the show. It aims to showcase how plants positively impact our lives and wellbeing, offering both nourishment and happiness.

Spetchley Park Gardens

This beautiful historic garden with its surrounding parkland is set in the wonderful Worcestershire countryside, provides an ideal day out for individuals, families and groups. Spetchley is a garden for all tastes and ages containing one of the largest private collections of plant varieties outside the major botanical gardens.

Visit the Gardens and enjoy wonderful walks through formal and informal herbaceous borders, sweeping lawns and woodland glades, and take in the views across the Deer Park and Malvern Hills, followed by a delicious visit to the Granary Coffee Shop.

The Riverside Gardens at Webbs of Wychbold

The Flora Fields festival returns this summer to the Riverside gardens at Webbs of Wychbold with 60+ colourful dahlia varieties in full bloom. From Saturday 16 August through until early Autumn 2025 the Flora Fields will be open for you to explore the extraordinary collection of over 60 gorgeous varieties and thousands of dahlias in full bloom.

Stroll through vibrant rows of flowers and pick-your-own (PYO) dahlias to create your own beautiful bouquet. Choose from the Bouquet (10 stems), the Centrepiece (20 stems), or go big with the Showstopper (80 stems) for the ultimate floral arrangement.
