Whether you’re planning a Christmas day out with the children, an evening with friends or something special to get everyone feeling festive, here are some of the best family Christmas events taking place in Worcestershire this year.
Glow Golf: Festive crazy golf after dark in Evesham
Crazy golf is fun. Crazy golf in the dark is even better. From 20 November to 30 December 2026, Aztec Adventure's The Lost Valley becomes a glowing festive playground.
Once darkness falls, the whole course glows and sparkles against the winter night sky. Fairy lights trace the railings of the big wooden bridge, while multi-coloured lights spill beneath it and dance across the streams. Strings of bulbs swing between the posts, lanterns guide you from hole to hole, and even the abandoned Land Rover twinkles.
Your glow-in-the-dark ball shines as it rolls past the Aztec temple and under that bridge. It's a night out that works for almost anyone: a date night with a difference, a family outing from grandparents to grandkids, a festive work do, or friends out for a laugh. Will someone get a ho-ho-hole-in-one?
Afterwards, toast marshmallows by the fire pit or warm up in the cosy festive marquee with a drink, boozy or not.

Museum of Royal Worcester

Make magical Christmas memories at West Midlands Safari Park
Families can enjoy a festive day out in Worcestershire this winter as West Midlands Safari Park’s popular Santa Safari returns on selected dates from 21st November to 24th December 2026.
Combining a four-mile winter safari with an enchanting Christmas experience, Santa Safari invites visitors to discover a magical North Pole adventure. Starting on the Discovery Trail, families will meet a cheerful elf before spotting gift-making elves, delightful characters and dazzling northern lights.
The festive fun continues with the Enchanted Elevator, taking guests on a fantastical journey through snowy scenes and sparkling skies before arriving at Santa’s beautifully decorated grotto. Children can share their Christmas wishes with Santa, enjoy a special photo opportunity and choose their own present in the Elves’ Workshop.
There’s plenty more to enjoy, including cosy storytime with Mrs Claus, festive food and selected rides open throughout the winter season. The Park’s Christmas celebrations also include the return of its popular pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, at the Treetops Pavilion on selected dates between 18th and 31st December. This year, families can enjoy brand-new evening performances alongside afternoon shows.
For visitors who would benefit from a calmer environment, Relaxed Santa Safari sessions will take place on 28th November and 9th December, with reduced sound and lighting effects and an optional Enchanted Elevator experience.
Santa Safari was also recognised at the UK Theme Park Awards 2026, winning Silver for Best Christmas Event.

Robin Hood at The Swan Theatre, Worcester
Worcester Repertory Company’s much-loved annual pantomime returns to The Swan Theatre this festive season with Robin Hood, bringing a talented cast of familiar faces and new performers to the stage for a brand-new family adventure.
The Robin Hood cast includes Connor McKnight-Hill as Robin Hood, Verity Walker as Maid Marian, Nick Wilkes as the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Francesca Alessandra as Little Jen & Dance Captain. Returning to the Worcester Repertory Company are Nathan Blyth as Henrick the Henchman, George Ormerod as Will Scarlet, Dom McChesney as King Richard & Friar Tuck, and Ian Good as Dame Hetty Hood.
The dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham is spreading taxes and misery over the people of Sherwood Forest, whilst hatching his greedy plan to seize the throne.
