Spring is arriving in Worcestershire, and with it comes a whole host of family-friendly Easter adventures. From farm animals and creative workshops to heritage trails and chocolatey fun, here’s your full guide to what’s on across the county this Easter.

Churchfields Farm Easter Egg‑stravaganza – Droitwich

Celebrate Easter with a full day of family fun at Churchfields Farm, where the annual Easter Egg‑stravaganza brings laughter, live entertainment and plenty of outdoor adventure. Running across the entire Easter bank holiday weekend from 10am–5pm daily, this much‑loved event is designed for families wanting a mix of hands‑on fun and memorable experiences.

Throughout the day, children can enjoy interactive live shows featuring the Easter Bunny, Leaping Lamb and Chirpy Chick. These lively performances are packed with audience participation, music and brilliant photo moments. Every full‑paying child can also join the Easter Egg Hunt, returning with a sweet treat (with allergen-friendly alternatives available).

Families can follow the Egg Heads Easter Trail, enjoy seasonal crafts and games, and meet the friendly farm animals in the paddocks. Outdoors, the adventure playground, go‑karts, zip line and giant bouncers are all included in admission, giving little ones plenty of opportunities to play.

The popular Lamb Bottle Feeding Experience is available to pre-book, with limited spaces each day. With wristband entry, visitors can leave and re‑enter throughout the day, making it ideal for relaxed family visits. The Churchfields café is open throughout the event serving hot food, drinks and tempting homemade sweet treats.

Easter Egg Hunt at Hanbury Hall – National Trust

Set within stunning parkland, the Easter Egg Hunt at Hanbury Hall is a charming spring experience designed for families seeking gentle outdoor fun. Taking place from Friday 27 March to Sunday 12 April 2026, the trail is open daily from 9.30am to 4pm (last entry 3.30pm).

For £3.50 per child, families receive an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg. Children can choose from dairy, vegan or a Free From chocolate treat suitable for those with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree-nut allergies.

The trail includes ten activity points, encouraging families to explore the grounds together. Children can paint a self‑portrait, make music, practise hoopla, try welly wanging and even challenge family members to a wheelbarrow race. It’s a wonderfully relaxed way to enjoy the outdoors while adding a touch of Easter magic.

No booking is required, though standard admission charges apply for entry to the estate. Once inside, families are free to enjoy the wider gardens, woodland walks and views around this beautiful National Trust property.

Ostara Spring Family Festival at Webbs, Wychbold

Hosted inside the heated Riverside Gardens tipis at Webbs, the Ostara Spring Family Festival offers a gentle, nature-inspired way to celebrate Easter. Running on Tuesday 31 March and Wednesday 1 April 2026 (9:30am–4pm), the festival blends creativity, wellbeing and outdoor discovery.

The day begins with Children’s Storytime (9:30–10:30am), a free but bookable session filled with songs and seasonal stories told by Helen (Tuesday) and Nikki (Wednesday). Children aged 6+ can enjoy two beautifully crafted workshops: the Easter Tree Workshop (11:30am–12:30pm, £25), where they create a bulb‑planted Easter tree to take home, and the Flower Crown Workshop (1:30–2:30pm, £25), both led by local floral designer Anna Brian.

Little ones can also join the Garden Egg Hunt at 11am, 1pm and 3pm (£2.50), exploring the Riverside Gardens in search of hidden eggs to exchange for a chocolate treat.

All‑day activities include meeting Ostara, the Goddess of Spring, and the Easter Hare, marshmallow toasting around the firepit, and building a shared display at the Easter altar. Families can also enjoy seasonal food and drinks from the outdoor hut.

With prices ranging from free to £25, families can choose activities that suit their budget and pace, making this a wonderfully immersive celebration of spring.

Broadway Museum and Art Gallery

Housed in a stunning 17th-century building, Broadway Museum & Art Gallery invites you to explore the fascinating history of Broadway—a charming Cotswold village with evidence of human habitation dating back 8,000 years!

Easter at Becketts Farm – Wythall

Easter at Becketts Farm is a heartwarming experience filled with animal encounters, crafts and wholesome spring fun. Running daily from 28 March to 12 April 2026 between 9.30am and 3.30pm, this relaxed family event is perfect for little ones who love getting up close with farm animals.

Children (£4) and adults (£2) can meet playful goats and their kids, ewes, newly born lambs and more. While there are no chicks, birds or hatching eggs this year due to government restrictions, there’s still plenty happening inside the event marquee.

Each paying child can enjoy a range of included craft activities, from colouring to potting, plus a simple Easter egg hunt. Children may visit each craft station once, making it a great value activity for families looking to fill a morning or afternoon during the school holidays.

There’s no need to book, although there may be short waits at the busiest times. After meeting the animals, families can explore the Farm Shop or enjoy a meal in the Becketts Restaurant, which serves a children’s menu and seasonal dishes. Restaurant booking is advised for peak times.

Easter at Attwell Farm Park 

Easter at Attwell Farm Park is a wonderful celebration of new beginnings, making it a perfect choice for families wanting a nature‑rich, hands‑on day out. The farm comes to life with adorable new arrivals, including lambs in the Lambing Barn and chicks hatching in the Hatchery.

Alongside meeting over 80 friendly animals, families can join in much-loved Easter activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt, meeting the Easter Bunny, and planting a sunflower seed to take home and grow. These simple but meaningful experiences help children learn about spring while creating special memories.

The farm park’s popular indoor and outdoor play areas remain open, giving children of all ages plenty to explore—from soft play to adventure frames, pedal tractors and more. With its warm, family‑run atmosphere, Attwell Farm Park offers a wholesome, relaxed Easter day out full of discovery.

Easter Weekend at Spetchley Park Gardens

Families are invited to celebrate Easter in style at Spetchley Park Gardens, with their fun‑filled Play, Plant, Paint event running from Saturday 4th to Monday 6th April 2026. With Early Bunny tickets from just £7, visitors are encouraged to book online in advance to secure their place.

Little ones can enjoy the much‑anticipated Fluffle Trail, a free‑flow outdoor adventure where children follow clues through the gardens to earn a Kinder Surprise reward. Creative activities continue inside the Heritage Centre with Bunny Painting, offering children the chance to design and take home their very own Easter masterpiece.

Budding gardeners can head to the Education Room for Broad Bean Planting sessions, giving youngsters a hands‑on opportunity to learn how to grow their own plants, with each child able to take their planted bean home to nurture.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Spetchley’s historic gardens bursting into life, the event offers a relaxed and memorable family day out. Visitors can also take time to unwind at Al’s Kitchen, the on‑site garden café, serving a delicious selection of homemade refreshments and Easter treats throughout the weekend.

Tickets are available both online and on the day, though advance booking is recommended due to the popularity of this Easter experience. Early Bird Child tickets are £7, Adult tickets £11, and Family tickets £28.

The Valley Railway Adventure – Evesham

Climb aboard the Easter Express for a charming family adventure at The Valley Railway Adventure, running daily from Saturday 28 March to Sunday 12 April. This interactive train ride invites children to spot brightly coloured Easter eggs along the tracks—and if they guess the total correctly, they’ll receive a special Easter goody.

The first train departs at 10:15am and the last at 4:30pm, giving families plenty of flexibility throughout the day. Advance booking is recommended but not essential.

With adult returns priced at £4.50 and children (2–15 years) at £3.65, it’s an affordable Easter outing and ideal for families wanting a simple but memorable experience. After your train ride, you can enjoy shopping, dining and riverside walks across the wider Valley site.

Easter Egg Hunt at Forge Mill Needle Museum – Redditch

Forge Mill Needle Museum is hosting its delightful Easter Egg Hunt, where children can begin by crafting their very own basket before heading out into the scenic grounds in search of coloured eggs.

This year’s trail is even bigger, with an extended route across the Abbey site. Young explorers can crack the puzzle to reveal the final egg location and collect their chocolate reward. At just £2.50 per “eggsplorer”, it’s a wonderful low‑cost option for families wanting traditional Easter fun.

The activity takes place outdoors, so families are encouraged to wear suitable clothing and footwear. With its peaceful surroundings, historic charm and hands‑on crafting, Forge Mill’s Easter event is ideal for a relaxed outing with younger children.
