1. GoApe Wyre Forest

Step outside your comfort zone and climb to the treetops of the UK’s largest native woodland. Designed specifically for the adventurers, you will be put through your paces on a choice of two high ropes experiences, Treetop Adventure and Treetop Challenge.

Take a big gulp of fresh air and hold on tight. You’ll be tackling canopy-height crossings, leaping off free-fall Tarzan swings and riding high-speed ziplines. This activity is for the whole family to enjoy, with savings of 15% off the Treetop Challenge with code FAMILY15

2. The Commandery

August at The Commandery is jam-packed with fun for families with different themed sessions each week for children to enjoy!

Step back to medieval times and learn to launch a trebuchet catapult in the garden, test your juggling and giant bubble-making skills, and discover all there is to know about magnificent minibeasts.

Sessions run Tuesday to Thursday, 10.30am – 12noon, and are £5 per child.

Usual admission to The Commandery applies. You can get free admission to The Commandery if you have a season or residents’ pass

3. Hartlebury Castle

This summer, families can enjoy fantastic days out exploring Hartlebury Castle and get buzzing with creativity inspired by the natural world around the castle and beyond.

Dive under the sea, fly through the sky, and travel back in time to the age of the dinosaurs! There’ll be a new theme every week in August for children to get stuck into: Dinosaurs, Under the Sea, Birds of a Feather, Junk Art, and Bug Creations.

Children can make their own roar-some animal characters including crafty crabs and glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs, create mini bird houses, decorate wooden bug scenes and more to take home. There’s also an opportunity to become a Young Detective with an exciting cryptic trail around the castle and museum.

4. Churchfields Farm

There's so much to entertain the whole family this summer at Churchfields Farm near Droitwich. The Maize Maze is set to test your problem-solving skills, whilst visitors can also meet the friendly animals in the Fun Farm.

The fun does not stop there for youngsters (and parents!) with the adventure play adventure playground, bouncers and go-karts. Just some of the feature attractions at Churchfields Farm.
