The Festival of Blossom at Hanbury Hall
Celebrate the Festival of Blossom at Hanbury Hall with a range of activities including blossom bathing and crafts.
About this event
Dates, address & more
Hanbury Hall is home to several species of blossom trees, including pear, apple, and cherry blossom, in flower anytime from March – May.
Inspired by the Japanese tradition of 'Hanami', or flower viewing, the Festival of Blossom, created by the National Trust, invites people to take a moment and appreciate the beauty of blooming blossoms that can be seen across the country.
In the Long Gallery in March, have a go at a free, drop-in blossom themed crafts, including origami (please note this is only available during March).
In April, have a go at blossom bathing in the walled orchard, filled with 56 varieties of heritage apple trees adorned with pink-tinged blossoms. Help yourself to a yoga mat and take a deep breath as you rest beneath the beautiful apple blossom.
This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
