Stitching with Nature - Sip & Stitch at FAUN Wine Bar

A gentle way to welcome the festive season, this workshop is the perfect early gift to yourself, or a chance to savour memories of warmer days while staying cosy indoors, stitching with dried flowers and botanicals.

In this workshop, Katerina will teach participants a series of hand embroidery techniques for how dried plant materials can be used as alternative textile embellishments. Learning how to incorporate unusual materials such as lavender seeds, cornflowers, dahlia petals, and rosemary together with traditional hand stitching, whether you are interested in textiles, gardening, meditation, or would just like to learn something new, this workshop promises to be soothing and sensorial.

All materials will be provided by Katerina, including a varied selection of dried plant materials, homegrown or sustainably foraged.

No embroidery experience is necessary, you are encouraged to take each stitch slowly and learn at a pace that is comfortable for you.

As you stitch, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or whole leaf tea, accompanied by an artisanal sweet treat from Faun.
