Kadai Indian Fire Feast

Join us for this brand new event with Kadai! Webbs are excited to bring you an Indian Fire Feast with only the best locally sourced ingredients. Bringing you a 7-hour long cooking course learning classic Indian cuisine.

What is a Kadai?
Kadais (or Karahis) are traditional Indian cooking vessels that have been used for generations to prepare curries and other dishes during weddings, festivals and large celebrations. Ranging up to 2 metres in diameter, these massive kadai bowls would be placed over fires, allowing mothers and grandmothers to cook delicious curries within as people gathered around the centrepiece kadais.

The menu for the course:

• Arrival refreshments: Tea/Coffee, apple cinnamon & cardamom cake made on the Kadai
• Onion Bhajis & Samosas
• Indian-inspired leg of lamb
• Tikka baked Tilapia
• Dirty cooked veg curry
• Chicken Karahi Curry
• Quick and easy breads (Naan and Chapati)

At the end of the course you will be given a FREE Kadai cookbook, with recipes and techniques celebrating all things fire and food.
