Discover this red-listed endangered Heritage Craft.

During the workshop you will learn basic plaiting and tied straw techniques, producing several corn dollies that can be used as Christmas decorations, culminating in the showstopper Christmas Angel suitable for the top of your Christmas tree.

You will be working with a heritage straw, Maris Widgeon, which is grown and harvested in the traditional way on a Staffordshire farm.

We will explain some of the folklore, history and traditions behind corn dollies.
