‘Build It Live’ Announces New Show at Three Counties Showground in Malvern

Each show brings together experts and suppliers from across the industry to make it easier to make a success of your own self-build, renovation, extension or home improvement project.

Each interactive show brings the UK’s longest running self build magazine ‘Build It’ to life and is designed for anyone thinking of taking on a new project, those waiting on a planning decision or anybody who has already started a property project.

Meet Suppliers in Person You won’t have to make big purchasing decisions without first seeing and testing out products, because at Build It Live you can meet hundreds of the UK’s leading suppliers as well as meet architects and see thousands of products to help you specify the right materials for your own project. Gain face-to-face advice and test out products like sliding doors, eco products and smart home systems in person. The shows will also feature many leading structural system suppliers, catering to those building with insulated concrete formwork (ICF), structural insulated panels (SIPs), bricks and masonry, timber frame and oak frame.
2. Attend Free Workshops & Seminars Each day at Build It Live, visitors will be able to attend free, live talks hosted by industry experts. Designed to cover all key self build, renovation and extension hurdles. The Seminars and Workshops are designed to be easy to follow and informative, helping people avoid common pitfalls and troubleshoot their way to project success. Seminars, including ‘A step by step guide to self build’ and ‘Renovating a Home with Character’, are hosted by Build It’s magazine experts, while Workshops, coverings everything from heating systems to finding land, are hosted by leading manufacturers and specialists from the self build and renovation sector. Build It magazine’s experts will be on hand at each show to give free, impartial guidance on any part of your self build, renovation or home extension – without the sales pitch! Don’t miss your chance to tap into the knowledge and experience of professional planners, architects, project managers, sustainability experts and more. Book free one-on-one appointments with our experts and talk through your project plans Their independent advice could save you thousands in consultancy fees! Slots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so arrive early to secure yours – and don’t forget to bring your plans!
4. Listen to Self Builders’ Own Stories At the Build It Live Workshop Theatre hear about real life projects from people who have already completed their self build or renovation. Self Builders’ Own Stories is an opportunity to listen to the experiences of real people – discover how they approached their projects and achieved their dream home as well as learn how to avoid mistakes. Also hear their top tips and ask them questions about their journey.
5. Find Your Perfect Plot in the Land Zone Build It operates PlotBrowser – an online portal filled with real building plots and conversion opportunities around the UK – and at Build It Live, visitors can head to the dedicated Land Zone, which brings the website to life. Here, you’ll be able to discover the various routes to finding the right plot, gain valuable tips for securing viable land and even browse live listings currently for sale. Representatives from the UK’s latest serviced plot and custom build projects will also be on hand to provide more information about this alternative route to self building.
6. Visit the Dedicated Advice Clinics As well as the opportunity to try out products and materials in person, Build It Live will bring you free expert-led demonstrations and clinics, designed to help you achieve project success. Visit the Advice Clinics for project-specific advice on your own self build, renovation or home extension As well as the opportunity to try out products and materials in person, Build It Live also offers free, drop-in clinics, designed to help you make a success of your project. Each one is run by an expert in their field, so you can quiz them and find the answers to your burning questions. The clinics include the Heating Advice Clinic, the Build Cost Clinic, the Extensions Advice Clinic and the Basements Advice Clinic.
Tickets and Event Details Tickets for Build It Live are now available for purchase via the official website. Standard tickets are priced at £12 per person, with free admission for children under 16 when accompanied by an adult. The shows are open on Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:30. Tickets are valid for either day or both days of the event.
