We are Sailing Avoncroft Museum

The public is invited to celebrate the windmill’s return to sailing on Saturday, July 19th, when Mike Field will officially reopen the mill.

Commencing at 1pm the event will feature:

·       Heritage talks and video the history and restoration of the mill in Guesten Hall

·       Ribbon cutting and first sailing of windmill at 2pm (subject to weather)

·       Guided windmill tours

·       Children’s crafts and family-friendly activities
