The Big Butterfly Count in Greyfriars Garden

Can you find all the butterflies hidden in Greyfriars garden? Free trail at Greyfriars House and Garden.

About this event

Dates, address & more

Join us for a butterfly trail around Greyfriars garden and see how many butterflies you can find.

The trail and garden are free to access for everyone, just head through the archway on Friar Street and enjoy the peaceful green space in Worcester city centre. Trails will be available available to borrow next to the steps down onto the lawn.

While you're here why not enjoy a refreshing stop at our café and take part in the Butterfly Conservation's Big Butterfly Count. It takes just 15 minutes, sat in a sunny spot, to see how many butterflies you can count, registering them with the charity via QR code. Surveys like this help conservation charities keep track of butterfly populations. You can also take part at home, just look up the "Big Butterfly Count" online for guidance.
