Come and visit Pirton Court at their Garden Marquee Event for an illustrated and lively talk by Peter Hare about Pirton Court, its history, its life and its people. It will uncover the mystery of the Court’s social & architectural history. The lives, loves and tragedies of a property that became home to Viscount and lady Deerhurst and a seat of the Earl of Coventry’s estate for over 320 years.
Cheese and wine (alongside light refreshments) will be served and a brief guided visit to both the Dining room and Great Hall will take place at the end. St Peters church, Pirton will also be open for visitors hoping to ensure a broader experience.
The above will take place on Thursday 3rd July, 5pm - 7pm (gates opening at 4:30pm) and Saturday 5th July, 2pm - 4pm (gates opening at 1:30pm).
