Discover the fascinating history of the parkland which dates back 4,000 years, from seeing where our Bronze and Iron Age ancestors walked and lived, to learning how the park was used to defend us in the Second World War. Find out about the ongoing work to restore some of the original features.
Meeting point: at the gates in front of the Hall Walk length: 1.5 hours
Please note: this route has steep terrain and is muddy in places so is not accessible for pushchairs and wheelchairs. All walks are weather dependent.
