Foyer Folk: The Backwater Trio

Encapsulating the innovative music from the ’60s, (Beatles, Stones, Kinks) and the folk rock of the ’70s, (Fairport Convention, Stealers Wheel, Trees) the Trio comprise two fine singer/songwriter guitarists and a stylish percussionist. Jon, Richard and Crispin create a strong rhythmic groove, with intermingling guitars, strong lyrics, and expressive, melodic vocals.
