Eggciting Easter at Avoncroft Museum
We have lots going on and across the site this Easter, with various displays and interpretations in our buildings with a historical trail relating to the traditions and customs associated with Easter for children and adults to enjoy.

Our special offer for Families returns for Easter
*Children go Free (two free child tickets with each Full price Adult ticket purchased.)
Just purchase the adult ticket/s required and show booking to staff in our Visitor Welcome for free child entry.
In addition to the trial, we will also offer activities, displays and information which will link with the historic trail: and a Easter Egg Hunt.
- Egg dying -Nailer’s Cottage- interpretation and display.
- Hot cross buns– Toll House- interpretation, display and demonstrations (demonstrations weekend only).
- Craft activities in cockpit
- Easter game traditions in the Town House
- Easter during wartime – in the Prefab e.g., chocolate rationing and carrot lollies- interpretation and display.
- Easter egg hunt – Trail spot the Easter Eggs around the site
- Lawn games – Guesten Hall Lawn.
Please note a daily ticket required for entry to the Museum or free to members
