Let the sound of exciting choruses, emotional arias and dramatic orchestral settings stir the senses as you enjoy an oratorio that is bursting with Old Testament fire and brimstone – bringing the story of the prophet Elijah to life with large-scale musical forces and rousing operatic gusto.
Appearing alongside Worcester Festival Choral Society are stellar soloists and the Meridian Sinfonia orchestra, with Worcester Cathedral’s director of music Samuel Hudson conducting… and the magnificent Worcester Cathedral setting adding the perfect finishing touch.
