The building built in 1577 was the estate King Charles fled the battle of Worcester from in 1651. Since then, the property has been used as a judge’s residence, a furniture shop, an antique shop, and a restaurant.
The King Charles was recently acquired by new owners on the 10th of May 2022 who have a goal to provide fantastic quality locally sourced food, ales, ciders and gins.
