Our sparkling Christmas Tree Festival will be open to visit from Thursday 7 December 2023 until Sunday 14 January 2024 (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)
About this event
Dates, address & more
Our sparkling Christmas Tree Festival will be open to visit from Thursday 7 December 2023 until Sunday 14 January 2024 (excluding Christmas Eve* and Christmas Day), during normal visiting hours - 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday (last entry 4.30pm) and 1-3pm on Sundays (last entry 2.30pm).
The sparkling Christmas trees are always innovatively and individually designed and decorated by local schools, charities and organisations and are a wonderful sight to be enjoyed by all the family. And it promises to be especially spectacular this year with even more trees than ever!
Booking is not required this year, so just turn up and enjoy the avenue of glittering Christmas Trees displayed in our atmospheric medieval Cloister!
Further details on visiting the Christmas Trees will be released closer to the time, so please watch this space for updates.
Please note: All spaces to display a tree are now reserved, but we may be able to release more slots in the near future.
Please email rachelshepherd@worcestercathedral.org.uk to add your name to the waiting list.
* Due to a high volume of services and Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday (our shorter visiting day) this year, we are unable to open the trees for visiting on 24 December. There will be opportunities for those attending our Christmas Eve services to see the trees after each service, details of which will be released in the coming weeks.
