We continue our 'Music for Humans' Season where we examine the musical worlds of two of the most private and personal of composers - Brahms and Sibelius. After a conversation with Kenneth Woods (ESO Artistic Director), Steve Elcock (John McCabe Composer-in-Residence) decided to write a piece called 'Fermeture', the French word for closure, as 'ouverture' is French for opening. We are looking forward to ending the concert with this 'world premiere'!
